Nowadays, the air contamination problem which is linked with the increasing traffic in urban areas is the main stumbling block between cities` Government and cars` owners.

In order to avoid the serious damage to the world environment this problem should be solved immediately.

And the increase of petrol prices could be one of the useful steps to prevent the growing traffic with its poison emissions.

The economic stabilization brought us the opportunity of getting private credits which play a significant role in the growth of cars number.

The overwhelming majority of middle-class families buy cars in credit which means that paying off credit is the biggest point of householders` budgets.

Hence, the increase of petrol prices could be unaffordable for the wide group of people.

Additionally, the Authorities of cities should consider some other measures of the traffic decrease.

For instance, the rise of taxes on engine volume and tolls on the use of roads could reduce growing traffic and, consequently, the air pollution.

Furthermore, the Governments could also make a priceless contribution to the environment protection by substitute petrol public transport for the electrical, such as electro buses or trolleybuses.

In conclusion, the air pollution is a significant problem which should be solved by the interaction of citizens and Governments.

In my opinion, citizens shouldn`t argue with such kind of rude measures in order to solve our global problem.
